Why are some countries supporting the ethnic cleansing of Palestine?
To be honest, it’s confusing me when this question comes up in my thoughts. Why some people are behind the Palestinians who are innocent, and why are several countries supporting the idea of ethnic cleansing indirectly?
If you notice, currently, genocide is happening in Gaza and the Gaza Strip. Recently, in the news, it was mentioned that the North of Gaza is in the process of getting emptied. There’s a reason why:-
“MONEY or POWER”
Exactly. According to research, it is found out that ethnic cleansing in Gaza is a part of Isr*el's plan to expand its economy.
Building of New Canal
The Suez Canal has been used for transporting goods via the sea for years. Suez Canal is one of the fastest, direct and shortest maritime routes, where the waterways run across Egypt to connect with the Mediterranean and Red seas. It connects Europe, with the lands near the Indian and Western Pacific oceans. The Suez Canal is mainly controlled by Egypt. This is the same route which is stopped was by the Yemenis, as heard in the news. The Yemenis or Houthis attack the commercial and military ships that are connected to the Is*aelis in the Red Sea. Yemen is strategically located at the beginning edge of the Suez Canal which provides them the advantage to do so. The Yemenis despite being a country that’s currently living in famine and bombardment themselves have the guts to stop the ceasefire compared to the wealthy countries.
To be honest, this movement is really inspiring as it shows us the true definition of “Humanity” and “Bravery”. There’s a hadith that shows the beauty of Yemenis.

Remember, I was talking about the building of New Canal?
According to the news, Isr*elis must be planning to make their own canal to compete with the Suez Canal. The plan is called as Ben Gurion Canal. The canal is planned to pass through Gaza. The project was proposed back in the 1960s by Ben Gurion. The idea behind its construction is to eliminate the usage of the Suez Canal, by Western ally Isr*el thus resulting in a loss to Egypt.
The Suez Canal is important for Egypt’s economy as it gains benefits via tolls and transit fees from the ships/vessels that pass through it. The annual revenue of the Suez Canal was 9.4 billion Dollars in 2023. The building of the Ben Gurion Canal will pose a huge threat to the economy of Egypt.

Due to the continuous bombardments from Is**el, Palestinians have to move from northern Gaza to the south. It is reported that around 400,000 Palestinians (in November 2023) have been displaced due to the scenario. (Khalil, 2023). The Palestinians living in the area were considered obstacles by the Isr**lis, therefore they allowed them to suffer from the atrocities.

Do you know that the Gaza Strip is rich in oil and natural gas?
Yes, in discovery, it is found that in Levant Basic, natural gas was found in the range of 122 trillion cubic feet which has a net value of 453 billion dollars (in 2017 prices) while the recoverable oil found is priced around 1.7 billion barrels has the net value of 71 billion dollars (in 2017 prices).
The natural resources found in Palestine could benefit the Palestinian people, however, they are stopped by Isr**l. This causes a huge economic loss to the Palestinian people.
